SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – Suffolk Police and Suffolk Fire & Rescue investigated a bomb threat at Lakeland High School Wednesday morning.
According to officials, crews responded to a possible bomb threat at 10:08 a.m., following a notification from school administrators.
As a precautionary measure, students were evacuated from the school while crews conducted a thorough sweep of the building.


No injuries were reported, and the school was given an all-clear at 11:43 a.m.
Lakeland High School will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m., according to Suffolk Public Schools.
