SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Two people were injured after a vehicle was partially submerged in water following a crash on East Washington Street and Hollywood Avenue Wednesday afternoon in Suffolk, Suffolk Fire & Rescue said.




The crash happened around 2:15 p.m. with a single vehicle with two people inside crashing into water and partially submerging the vehicle. Suffolk Police and Suffolk Fire & Rescue responded to the crash and found both people who had been inside the vehicle.
Suffolk Fire & Rescue said there were cold injuries due to the vehicle being in the water, and the people were treated at the scene after being brought to shore.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
