PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – Portsmouth Police have located and arrested a suspect in connection with an April 6 shooting on Effingham Street.
Jasmine Trotter, 24, has been charged with attempted second-degree murder, two counts of attempted malicious wounding, use of a firearm and two counts of brandishing a firearm.

WAVY has reached out to Portsmouth Police for more information on the shooting. They did not say if anyone was injured.
