PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — A man died after he was found shot on Ansell Avenue in Portsmouth Wednesday morning, police said.

Camry Diamonte Chisolm, 23, was found shot in the 300 block of Ansell Avenue after Portsmouth Police responded to a call around 6:46 a.m., and he was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Portsmouth Police are calling this an active homicide investigation with its Major Crimes Unit.
