NORTHAMPTON COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) — A man is dead following a single-vehicle crash in Northampton County on Sunday afternoon.
Virginia State Police said the crash happened at approximately 1:50 p.m. on Bayside Road in Franktown.
The driver of a 1984 Ford pick-up truck, 74-year-old James A. Kellam, pulled out of his driveway and turned off the roadway into a ditch.
Speed nor alcohol were contributing factors in the fatal crash. Virginia State Police said a medical emergency may have caused the accident.
The incident is still under investigation.
