NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Two women have been charged after a stabbing incident in Norfolk on Wednesday evening that injured two other women.
Norfolk police responded to a report of a stabbing victim in the 1500 block of Berkeley Avenue around 5 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers found two women suffering from stab wounds that weren’t life-threatening. They were both taken to the hospital for treatment.
Two people were detained at the scene.
The preliminary investigation determined there had been a physical altercation between parties when the incident happened.
Detectives have charged 28-year-old Aaliyah L. Wilkins and 52-year-old Angela D. Wilkins in connection to the incident.
