NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — One person has died following a single-vehicle tractor-trailer crash on Interstate 64 eastbound at Chesapeake Boulevard in Norfolk Friday morning, Virginia State Police said.

Zeljko Janjetovic, 58, of Gloucester Point, died after his 2019 Kenworth tractor-trailer was heading eastbound around 8:45 a.m. when it went off the road and into the gore area, State Police said. He was taken to Sentara Leigh Hospital, where he later died.

Next-of-kin has been notified.
