NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – Norfolk International Airport (ORF) announced Tuesday there will be live fire burning training exercises at the airport through Friday.

The exercises will last from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and are part of the Aircraft Rescue Firefighting School program, according to ORF.

The firefighting school program is being conducted by the Norfolk Airport Authority fire department, in partnership with the Virginia Department of Fire Programs.
