NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Police are investigating a shooting Wednesday afternoon that left one person with injuries.
Norfolk Police spokesman Noel Lipieko told WAVY.com officers were dispatched to the 7600 block of Granby Street just after 3 p.m. and arrived to find a teenager suffering from a gunshot wound.
Lipieko said the teen’s injuries are not life-threatening. He is being treated at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
While speaking with the victim, police determined the shooting actually happened in the 7600 block of Bondale Avenue.
