NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — A man and woman were found unresponsive in a hotel room Saturday morning.
Police say they responded to the 6100 block of Jefferson Avenue at 7:45 a.m. for an unknown reason.
First responders tell 10 On Your Side that they found the two victims unresponsive and called for medical assistance.
Medics say they arrived and pronounced both people dead at 7:53 a.m.
Assistant Public Information Officer Maynard says there is no foul play expected, but that the deaths are being investigated as suspicious.
The cause of death is under investigation.
