NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — An Army soldier stationed at Fort Eustis has recently been indicted on multiple charges related to child sexual abuse material.
According to court documents, Isaiah Luke Hood allegedly knowingly coerced several minors into producing child sexual abuse material between March 2023 and January 2024. Hood is also accused of receiving child sexual abuse material between June 2023 and February 2024.

The documents show that Hood, who is currently stationed at Fort Eustis in Newport News, was indicted on April 8 on six counts of production of child pornography, one count of receipt of child pornography and two counts of coercion and enticement.
The court also ordered an arrest warrant against Hood, seeking his detention. The indictment also calls for a forfeiture of any items used to produce the child sexual abuse material, as well as any money Hood may have received while distributing the material.
Hood is currently being held in the Western Tidewater Regional Jail.
