SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A 22-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a homicide in Suffolk back in September 2024.
On Sept. 9, 2024, Suffolk Emergency Communications Center received a call in reference to a shooting incident in the 6100 block of Old Townpoint Road at approximately 2 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found a man, later identified as 24-year-old Alvin Brown Jr., with a gunshot wound to the chest. Suffolk Fire & Rescue responded and took the man to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries.\
Ja’Shaun Saunders-Case is charged with second degree murder, use of a firearm in commission of a felony and reckless handling of a firearm.
