Man airlifted from Carnival Sunshine after medical emergency

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — A person was airlifted from a Carnival Sunshine Saturday afternoon after a medical emergency.

According to officials, around 4 p.m., a 37-year-old man was airlifted from the cruise after what was described as a “stroke-related incident.”

Officials said the man was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
