HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — Motownphilly is back again and coming to Hampton in February as part of The New Edition Way Tour.
The tour, which will kick off on Jan. 28 in Calif., is set to feature New Edition, Boyz II Men and Toni Braxton, will visit 30 cities across North America, and will feature all three artists performing in a dynamic 360 degree view.
Pre-sale tickets for the concert will go on sale starting on Monday, Oct. 27 for American Express members. Those with the New Edition presale code will be able to grab their tickets starting on Tuesday, Oct. 28, and those with a Spotify presale code will be able to get tickets starting on Wednesday, Oct. 29. All other presale tickets will start on Thursday, Oct. 30, with general ticket sales starting on Friday, Oct. 31.
The tour, according to a release, will also mark the first time New Edition and Boyz II Men will share the stage together.
“You’re seeing artists who’ve shaped the culture come together to celebrate music that continues to stand the test of time,” CEO of the Black Promoters Collective Gary Guidry said.
