HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) – A man is suffering from life-threatening injuries following a shooting in the 1000 block of Topping Lane, according to Hampton police.

The call came in around 1:13 p.m., and the victim was transported to a local hospital by members of the Hampton Division of Fire and Rescue.

The incident is under investigation by members of the Hampton Police Major Crimes Unit and those with information are encouraged to contact the Hampton Police Division at 757–727–6111 or the Crime Line at 1–888-LOCK-U-UP.
