HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — Crews with Hampton Fire & Rescue and the Hampton Police Division responded to a boat fire on South Armistead Avenue Thursday night.
According to officials, just after 9:30 p.m., crews were dispatched to the 800 block of South Armistead Avenue for what was initially reported as a structure fire.
Upon arrival to the scene, crews found a boat on fire.
Following the fire, crews worked to dismantle the boat with a chainsaw.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
