HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — A 16-year-old was taken to the hospital after a shooting in Hampton on Tuesday night.
Police responded to a report of a shooting just before 10:10 p.m. in the 1300 block of Andrews Boulevard in Hampton.
The 16-year-old victim was found at the scene and taken to the hospital for non life-threatening injuries. Police say the boy was sitting outside of a home when he was shot by an unknown person.
There’s no motive or suspect information at this time.
