HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) – Hampton Fire and Rescue crews responded to a fire at the city’s landfill on North Park Ln. Sunday evening.
Report of the fire came in just before 5 p.m.
Several 10 On Your Side viewers reported seeing a large plume of black smoke coming from the area.
Battalion Chief Anthony Chittum said no structures or people were in danger.
