GLOUCESTER COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) — Three men were arrested and charged in connection with burglarizing a Gloucester County home in early April.

On April 3, Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to an address on Woods Cross Road in reference to a residential burglary.

Upon arrival, investigators discovered forced entry to the home. The victim reported multiple pieces of property were stolen, including firearms and other valuable items.

Investigators spoke with someone in the area who reported a suspicious vehicle pulled in their driveway during the timeframe of the burglary. Investigators were able to view camera footage and follow up with the registered owner of the vehicle.

Following multiple interviews and the use of other law enforcement resources, GCSO investigators were able to identify three suspects who resided in the Northern Neck area.

In cooperation with investigators from the Richmond and Westmoreland County Sheriffs’ Offices, GSCO investigators were able to develop a probable cause to execute multiple search warrants in Richmond County.

The warrants led to the recovery of several of the stolen firearms from the Woods Cross Road burglary as well as other items of evidence and stolen property from other jurisdictions.

After diligent investigation, 45-year-old Joshua Adam Morris, 50-year-old David Anthony Wright and 47-year-old Michael Wayne Wright were arrested. All three men were charged in Gloucester County with breaking and entering, grand larceny, receiving stolen firearms and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

They are being held on these charges and other charges from additional jurisdictions in the Northern Neck Regional Jail with no bond.
