Update: The two missing women have been safely located, according to the City of Franklin Police Department.

FRANKLIN, Va. (WAVY) — The City of Franklin Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating two missing women.

On Saturday, July 19, cousins Chanetta and Donnita Bowers departed in a black 2003 Mazda Tribute SUV with Virginia license plate VMZ8843 at approximately 10 a.m. Police say they have not been seen or heard from since.

Chanetta, 44, is described as 5’7″ and 220 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes. She was last spotted wearing a light pink shirt with black pants.

Donnita, 38, is described as 5’7″ and 170 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black shirt with a jean skirt.
