HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — Hampton police are investigating a fatal stabbing that left one man dead Saturday afternoon. He was identified as 33-year-old Dominique Kindred of Franklin, Va.

At approximately 1:05 p.m., Hampton Public Safety Communications received a call in reference to a stabbing in the 200 block of Mallory Street.

When officers arrived, they discovered a man outside of a residence suffering from a stabbing wound. Kindred was pronounced deceased on scene by members of the Hampton Division of Fire and Rescue.

Detectives have also identified and located the other individual involved. He is cooperating with detectives. The investigation is still ongoing, and no charges have been filed at this time.
