Deputies searching for woman in Gloucester bank fraud

GLOUCESTER COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) — Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office is looking to identify a suspect in a fraudulent bank interaction, deputies said.

In late January, the pictured female suspect allegedly stole a Gloucester victim’s identity and deposited a fraudulent check in the victim’s bank account.


The female, posing as the victim, then withdrew a sum of money from the account. The investigating deputy is attempting to positively identify the female in order to further the criminal investigation.

Callers may be eligible for a cash reward if their information leads to an arrest.
