HAMPTON ROADS, Va. (WAVY) — Crashes on two different interstates in Virginia Beach and Newport News are backing up traffic in those areas Wednesday afternoon.
The Virginia Department of Transportation said drivers can expect delays due to a crash on I-264 westbound at mile marker 13.7 in Virginia Beach, with the inside left shoulder closed.
Delays were impacting traffic as of around 5 p.m.
On I-664 south at mile marker 3.1 in Newport News, VDOT said drivers can expect delays due to a multi-vehicle crash that has closed all southbound lanes.
Congestion is causing delays Wednesday afternoon at the Monitor-Merrimac Memorial Bridge-Tunnel and the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel.
