HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — The U.S. Coast Guard responded to a water rescue in Hampton Monday afternoon, according to Petty Officer Christine Bills.
Around 1:35 p.m., officials were alerted of a 35-foot sailboat taking on water, near Ivory Gull Crescent. Two people were on the vessel.
The CG Cutter Pompano along with Coast Guard Station Portsmouth, VMRC and Hampton Fire Department all responded.
