South Norfolk Jordan Bridge to increase rates in new year

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) – Motorists traveling along the South Norfolk Jordan Bridge (SNJB) can expect higher rates to start off the new year.

According to a release, starting on Jan. 1, 2025, the annual toll rate. Currently, the rate for two-axle passenger vehicles with an E-ZPass is $3.25 per crossing. The new rates can be found below:


The bridge, owned and operated by United Bridge Partners, has provided travel across the Elizabeth River’s Southern Branch for 12 years, and operates without local, state or federal funding.
