CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — One man is dead, another is injured after being hit by a vehicle at a Chesapeake gas station Tuesday afternoon, according to Chesapeake Police.
Officers say the crash occurred around 1 p.m. at 2155 S. Military Highway. The preliminary investigation revealed the vehicle was traveling west towards the Gilmerton Bridge when the car left the roadway, striking the two men, CPD said.
Both men were taken to the hospital, where one man, David Frank Wade, later died as a result of his injuries. The other man and the driver, a woman, suffered non life-threatening injuries.
The incident is currently under investigation and charges may be pending.
