CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — A man was arrested on Cedarville Road on Friday in connection with child sexual abuse material, police said.

According to officials, 47-year-old Peter Joseph Alvich II was arrested on Friday, Oct. 24 after a search warrant in reference to an Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigation was executed in the 2700 block of Cedarville Road.

As a result of the arrest, Alvich was charged with the following:

  • Reproduce, transmit, sell child porn (2 counts)
  • Produce, make child porn with an individual under the age of 15
  • Custodian sexual abuse
  • Victim under age 13 (indicted as an adult)
  • Victim under age 13

Alvich is now being held at Chesapeake City Jail without bond.

Police said the incident remains under investigation.
