CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) – The Chesapeake Police Department is investigating a single-vehicle crash that occurred early Thursday morning.
According to officials, around 2:40 a.m., officers were dispatched the the 2300 block of Saint Brides Road West.
Officers arrived to the scene and found that a pick-up truck had run off the road and hit a tree. The driver was transferred to a local hospital to be treated for serious injuries.
The incident remains under investigation. Chesapeake police stated charges could be pending.
