3 adults displaced by Chesapeake residential fire

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) – Three adults were displaced from their home after a residential structure fire in the 600 block of Calista Drive early Saturday morning, according to the Chesapeake Fire Department.

Firefighters responded to the call around 1:02 a.m. and noticed smoke showing from a two-story residential structure.


The fire was marked under control at 1:39 a.m. and all three occupants were able to successfully evacuate the premise. No injuries were reported.

According to CFD, the three adults will find their own lodging arrangements.
