HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — A Hampton man who pleaded guilty to murder in the 2015 death of a toddler is facing four decades in prison.
Jeffery Allan Brown was arrested after 2-year-old Brianna Sandy died in 2015. The child was initially found unresponsive at a home on Seldendale Drive, and later died at a local hospital.
Detectives determined the child was killed by homicide as a result of trauma.
Brown was sentenced Tuesday to 40 years.
