YORK COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) — An investigation is underway after a garage fire in the Seaford area of York County Saturday morning.
The York County Department of Fire and Life Safety were dispatched to the report of a residential fire in the 800 block of Dandy Loop Road at approximately 11 a.m.
Upon arrival, crews found heavy smoke coming from the home’s attached garage.
All damage was contained to the garage. There was no damage to the home’s living space.
The occupants were not home at the time. The family’s pet rabbit was safe inside the structure.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the York County Department of Fire and Life Safety Fire Prevention Division.
