SOUTHERN SHORES, N.C. (WAVY) — Firefighters responded to a house fire in Southern Shores along North Carolina’s Outer Banks early Friday morning.
The Southern Shores Volunteer Fire Department said in a Facebook post crews were dispatched to a fire at a three-story home on South Dogwood Trail around 4:30 a.m.
Responding units found the home was engulfed in flames.
The post said a bulk of the fire was knocked down within 10 minutes.
Units from Duck, Southern Shores, Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills, Colington and Nags Head responded to the scene Friday morning.
It’s unclear whether anyone was injured in the fire.
