CAPE CHARLES, Va. (WAVY) — A man was recently arrested in connection with a homicide that occurred in February.

According to officials, on March 20, the Cape Charles Police Department, along with the Northampton Sheriff’s Department, arrested 46-year-old Jamar Jones in connection with the Feb. 18 murder of Calvin Cummings.

Jones is currently being held in the Northampton Regional Jail without bond. Police said additional charges could be pending.

The incident remains under investigation.
