3 hurt following shooting at InTown Suites on W. Mercury Blvd in Hampton

HAMPTON, Va.(WAVY)– Three people are hurt after being shot at a hotel in Hampton early Friday morning.

According to police, officers were called to the InTown Suites, located in the 2100 block of West Mercury Blvd, just before 3 a.m. for the report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they located a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital by members of the Hampton Division of Fire and Rescue with life-threatening injuries.

While officers were headed to the scene, they received a call from Sentara Careplex Hospital in regard to a walk in gunshot victim. When officers arrived on scene, they came in contact with a second male victim who also sustained life-threatening injuries.

Just after 3 a.m. officers were notified of a separate shooting in the 300 block of North Mallory Street. When officers arrived, they found a women who sustained non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.

After investigating, it was revealed that an altercation occurred in the parking lot of the InTown Suites when multiple shoots were fired, resulting in injuries to all three victims. The female victim drove herself to the North Mallory Street location before contacting police.

Police have not released any suspect information.
