NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — A federal judge in Norfolk sentenced Roscoe Simpson to 18 years in prison for dealing cocaine.
Federal prosecutors said officers found him in possession of 3.5 kilograms of cocaine and $65,000 when he arrested July 21, 2016. The U.S. Attorney’s Office said Simpson admitted after his arrest that he had distributed 50 kilograms of cocaine.
Upon release from prison, Simpson will serve five years of supervised released.
