WINDSOR, N.C. (WNCT) — The N.C. State Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that injured two Bertie County Sheriff’s officers who were responding to a call Thursday.
Sheriff Tyrone Ruffin said in a Facebook post that the two unnamed deputies were in a crash while heading to a call of a man with a gun shooting at a neighbor. He said both were OK.
Ruffin said no further information would be released pending the completion of the investigation.
