NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) – Newport News Police arrested 37-year-old Robert Rosenbleeth III after meth lab materials were found on airport property back in January.
Rosenbleeth is facing charges for meth mixture, manufacture and possession of schedule I or II drug.
On January 5, police discovered a tent and possible meth lab in a wooded area behind the Sam’s Club in the 12000 block of Jefferson Avenue. The call was upgraded to a hazmat situation and the Newport News Fire Department was also notified. This wood line area is Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport property.
During the investigation warrants were obtained for Robert Rosenbleeth of Marshall Avenue. Rosenbleeth was arrested on Thursday, February 7.
