VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – The public is invited to a ceremony at City View Park June 28 to introduce the new interactive sculpture “Seagrass and Lily.”
The sculpture, created by May + Watkins Design, is said to be a multi-sensory piece that will invite children and parents alike to interact through a hands-on experience.
The event will feature remarks from Mayor Bobby Dyer, District seven councilmember Cal Jackson-Green, Chris Buhner from the Virginia Beach Public Art Committee, and Carol May from May + Watkins Design.
The open event will be held Saturday, June 28 starting at 10 a.m.
