AAA tips for a safe Halloween

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Halloween falls on a Friday this year, which means there could more pedestrians and drivers out. AAA Tidewater wants everyone to stay safe. They’ve provided a list of simple things you can do, whether you’re on the road, trick-or-treating, or hosting a party.

Drivers heading home from work on Friday will need to take extra precautions as trick-or-treaters may already be out and about.

Drive Safe Hampton Roads is offering its 757 Sober Ride program Halloween weekend, October 31-November 2. The program offers up to $15 in Lyft credit to get you home safely.
