NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – The third installment of the Harry Potter Film Concert Series is coming to Chrysler Hall in 2026.

SevenVenues announced that audiences will experience the next chapter of the Harry Potter Film Concert Series with the Virginia Symphony Orchestra performing John Williams’ music from the entire film live to picture.

The Virginia Symphony Orchestra will be performing the entire score of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban while the film plays in high-definition on a 40-foot screen.

A summary of the film from SevenVenues said, “in their third year at Hogwarts, Harry, Ron and Hermione meet escaped prisoner Sirius Black and learn to handle a half-horse/half-eagle Hippogriff, repel shape-shifting Boggarts and master the art of Divination. Harry must also withstand soul-sucking Dementors, outsmart a dangerous werewolf and deal with the truth about Sirius and his relationship to Harry and his parents.”

The Harry Potter Film Concert Series has toured since 2016 when it started with Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. This experience is scheduled to include over 2,973 performances across more than 48 countries worldwide through 2025.

Performances of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban in Concert at Chrysler Hall will take place on Feb. 28 and 29, 2026. Tickets can be purchased at the Scope Arena box office and here.
