VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – The Virginia Beach Town Center is inviting the community to come to the annual Town and Treat Halloween event on Saturday, Oct. 25.
This free, family-friendly event is set to include:
- Trick-or-Treating at over 30 participating businesses (marked with balloons) throughout Town Center
- Free Halloween prizes and games
- Free cotton candy (while supplies last)
- Balloon artistry and decor
- Face painting by Merman
- Mad Science of Hampton Roads activity stations
- A Virginia Beach fire truck (if circumstances permit)
- A Woody from Toy Story stilt walker
- Bluey, Spiderman, and more movie/cartoon characters!
Music and dance contests will be held by DJ Melody Waters, along with a special appearance by Janice from Midnight Rain as Taylor Swift!
Children 12 and under can also join the 2025 Town and Treat costume contest, where you can enter them for the category of “Cutest”, ‘Scariest”, or “Most Creative”.
Leashed, well-behaved dogs will be allowed to enter the “Best Dog” costume contest.
Finally, organizers have added a “Best Family Costume” contest this year as well.
Special trophies and prizes will be awarded to the winner of each category!
Parking is free in Town Center. Officials recommend garage parking due to on-street parking limitations.
In the event of inclement weather, all outdoor activities will be cancelled.
