WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WAVY) – The Jamestown Settlement in Williamsburg has announced that the Halloween-themed event “Family Frights” will return this Oct. 24 and 25.

The event sees the settlement transform as night falls, with outdoor areas turning into Halloween-themed scenes full of fun, family-friendly adventures.

Officials with the James Settlement say that this event will feature trick-or-treating, games, crafts, festive music sing-alongs, face painting, spooky ships, multiple haunted houses and a not-so-scary good time!

Visitors will also find many mythical creatures and storybook characters while in attendance, from King Arthur and Robin Hood to King Neptune and Peter Rabbit.

There will also be Vikings at the pier and a faerie festival along the riverfront, with pixies, sprites and nymphs expected to attend.

Admission for the event is set at $12 for children 4-12 and $7 for adults age 13 and over, with children 3 and under getting in for free!

Tickets are only available online, and they must be purchased ahead of time at this link here.
