CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY)– The Chesapeake Jubilee is making its way back for a fun-filled weekend.
Presented by Cavalier Auto Group, the Jubilee will be held May 16-18 at Chesapeake City Park. Organizers have been working hard to bring the best in family entertainment to the community.
New to the Jubilee this year is the Xtreme Strong Man Show showcasing immense physical strength. Fans get to watch as the Strong Man pulls a car across the ring with only his teeth. Back for another year is the Wolves of the World Show. The audience gets an up close and personal experience with the wolves as they perform tricks.

Executive Director Stephanie Welke says there will be some great local musical entertainment throughout the weekend. “Our community is certainly represented on the main stage at this year’s Jubilee,” says Welke. “Take a break from rides and shows and support local talent with a funnel cake and a seat on the beautiful lawn.”
An array of thrilling rides will be at the jubilee including a free fall drop tower, giant Ferris wheel and carousel. Attendees also get to enjoy a wide variety of food options including fan favorites like funnel cakes and candy apples.

Closing out the event on Saturday night will be the best fireworks display in the Southeast. The fireworks will be presented by world famous fireworks producers, Zambelli Internationale.
Admission for the Jubilee is $3 per person.
