PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – What started as an interest in MMA, quickly turned to a love of the sport of boxing. Josiah Gordon from Chesapeake has been at the boxing game for a couple years now and he already has two national titles to his credit. Gordon recently won the 95lb bantamweight boys division at the USA Boxing Junior Olympics in Las Vegas, Nevada. The 12-year-old Chesapeake native trains with Team Norfolk at the Norfolk Boxing Center and is now ranked number one in his age group. Gordon is currently training for the King of the Jungle tournament next month in Flint, Michigan.
