PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – Hampton Roads is a big military community, and Jessica McLaughlin comes from a big military family. With family members serving in the Army, Navy, Marines and Coast Guard, she figured the Air Force needed some representation. Her first assignment as an Air Force officer brought her to Joint Base Langley-Eustis. She says she credits her military discipline to a hobby you might not expect. Jessica McLaughlin is this week’s I am Hampton Roads.
Lieutenant McLaughlin spoke very highly of her experience in ROTC and the education it provided for her. She encourages anyone who’s interested to reach out and learn more.
