PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Myra Smith, founder of “Breaking the Silence Advocacy Global Inc.,” joined HRS to talk about the upcoming 4th annual Sexual Assault Survivors Festival in partnership with her organization Breaking The Silence Global Advocacy Inc. The event is in honor and celebration of survivors of sexual assault.
Myra founded her nonprofit “Breaking the Silence Advocacy Global Inc.,” in order to tell her story and to bring awareness to other survivors of sexual assault. Her organization aims to support survivors in various ways, while highlighting their strength and resiliency through songs and community.
