HRS: Local law firm addresses food insecurity

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — With rising tariffs and soaring food prices, a local law firm is stepping in to give back and bring awareness to the challenges many Americans face when it comes to food access. Attorney and president of the Morring Community Foundation, Charlene Morring, and owner and general manager of E. Palmer Supermarket, Esron Palmer, joined us with how they’re partnering up for a grocery giveaway.

More than $20,000 worth of gift cards will be given away Saturday, March 1 at E. Palmer Supermarket located at 201 E. Berkley Avenue in Norfolk. The event begins at 10 a.m. and is on a first come, first served basis. For more information, visit MorringCommunityFoundation.org.
