PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – Summer is sizzling in Newport News. Every Thursday throughout the season, they’re hosting a summer concert series featuring fun for the whole family. Newport News Mayor Phillip Jones joined HRS with the details on the ‘Drop the Mic’ Summer Concert Series.
The Drop The Mic Summer Concert Series takes place every Thursday through Aug. 29. It’s happening from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Victory Landing Park. Free parking is available. No pets or outside alcohol allowed.
