PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – Back to school can be a stressful time for not only the children, but parents! And the long lists of supplies needed can be burdensome for some. For years,
the Suffolk Sheriff’s Office has been dedicated to easing that load by providing essential supplies to help set students up for success. Sheriff David Miles joined the HRS show to share how you can help support local students, as they get ready for the school year.
Suffolk Sheriff’s Office’s Back to School Drive is Aug. 1 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Donations will be collected at both Suffolk Walmart locations: 1200 N. Main St. and 6259 College Drive.
