We’ll bookend the workweek just how we started it… with a round of showers and thunderstorms. Fortunately, though, we’re consolidating our rain chances into a tight window of Friday afternoon / evening, so that means the weekend continues to look splendid!

Track 1
Stormy Weather by Etta James
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will likely develop across the region after 1 or 2 o’clock in the afternoon. They should become a bit more widespread around the evening commute, but should be pushing offshore around sunset. Some heavy rain, a little hail and strong wind are possibilities, so be sure to stay weather aware!

Track 2
Beautiful Things by Benson Boone
The weekend forecast is most certainly a beautiful thing… with dry, post-cold-front-weather developing, expect low humidity and plenty of sunshine, especially Saturday. Some extra clouds drift into the region on Sunday for Mother’s Day, but we should stay dry.

Track 3
Mother We Just Can’t Get Enough by New Radicals
The weekend weather should be the kind that we can’t get enough of! Especially considering it’s Mother’s Day weekend! Expect some refreshing conditions Saturday morning with lows in the 40s and 50s — highs will be around 70° Saturday, with mid and upper 70s likely on Sunday.

Dry weather should hold into Monday of next week, before we get another dose of some potentially soaking rain around the Tuesday & Wednesday timeframe.
